Items & Gear

Pickaxes, swords, and armor form your core loadout, then relics, artifacts, accessories, charms, runes, and potions layer on the boosts that turn good gear into great gear.

The Item System #

Every ownable thing in Timelords carries a rarity and, if it's boostable, rolls its exact stats once when created and keeps them forever. So two of the same relic can have different values, so it's worth chasing a well-rolled one. Best of all, items never reset: no Seconds, Chrono Dust, Time Leap, Intelligence, or Era reset ever takes your gear away.

Your items live across several bags, each opened by a command:

Inventory

/inventory: your main item storage.

Accessory Bag

/accessories: 15 slots of active accessories.

Artifacts

/artifacts: your active artifact slots.

Charms

/charms: collectibles you've found.

Runes

/runes: your rune collection.

Item Cache

/cache: recovers overflow items.

🔒
Gear, relics, and artifacts have a Time Leap requirement checked against your best-ever tier. Once you've reached that tier, the item works forever, even after an Era reset lowers your current tier.

Core Gear #

Your loadout starts here: a pickaxe to break ore, a sword to fight, and a full set of armor to survive. Each upgrades along its own ladder, and each has its own page with the full per-tier stat tables.

💡
Upgrading a gear piece consumes the previous one but carries over any applied relic, so you never lose your amplifier when you tier up.

Boost Items #

These don't replace your loadout; they stack on top of it. Relics amplify a gear piece, artifacts fill active slots, accessories and charms sit in their bags, runes stack from rune packs, and potions give timed buffs. Together they multiply everything you do.
