What is Timelords? #
Timelords is an incremental RPG Minecraft server, an idle/clicker game wrapped in a full RPG world. You start by generating tiny amounts of a currency, then reinvest and reset that progress to come back exponentially stronger. Over time your numbers grow from single digits into astronomically large values.
Everything happens in one seamless world. The Iron Mine, Diamond Mine, Era Chamber and the rest are areas you travel to (not separate worlds), and it all blends three loops:
Stand on buttons and generate Ticks, Moments and more. Layered resets turn that grind into permanent power.
Break custom ore blocks across a chain of mining areas, upgrade your pickaxe, and refine Pure Diamonds.
Fight custom mobs and a boss for rare loot, gear, and crafting materials, all PvE, always.
How to Join #
Timelords supports both Java and Bedrock Edition (crossplay). Add the server using the address for your edition:
play.timelordsinc.net: the recommended way to play.bedrock.timelordsinc.net: Windows, mobile, and console.- Open Minecraft and go to Multiplayer → Add Server.
- Paste the address for your edition and connect.
- Accept the resource pack when prompted (it is required, see below).
- You spawn in The Origin. Follow the objective bar at the top of your screen.

Timelords uses a required resource pack. It is applied automatically the moment you connect and is what makes the custom currency icons, item textures, and the on-screen HUD render correctly.
- Custom item textures: unique models for swords, pickaxes, and menu icons.
- Currency & stat glyphs: the little inline icons for Ticks, Coal, Gems, Diamonds and every other stat.
- A custom HUD: the health and defense readout and the notification stack in the corner of your screen.
The Core Loop #
The heart of Timelords is a progression ladder. You generate currencies by clicking, then spend them to climb, and at a few key rungs you reset your lower progress in exchange for a permanent multiplier, so every reset makes the next climb faster. Only some rungs are resets; the rest are currencies you build up or a gauge that unlocks the next reset.

Ticks and Moments are currencies you generate, not resets. Seconds, Chrono Dust and Time Leap are the true resets. Temporal Power is a gauge that gates your Time Leap and resets nothing on its own.
As you climb, you'll unlock mining, combat, Strength and Intelligence, each a core part of progression that feeds back into the loop. The full breakdown lives in Progression.
Boosts & Big Numbers #
Numbers get huge, so Timelords abbreviates them. Each suffix is 1,000× the last:

Prefer a different style? Open Settings and change your Number Notation between Regular, Scientific, Abbreviated, and Engineer.
Reading boosts
Boosts come in four flavors, always applied in this order:
+5+10%×2^1.05You'll also see power boosts written like Coal^0.15. That means a stat is
boosted by another to a fractional power, for example 100^0.15 ≈ ×2. Small
exponents still turn massive numbers into meaningful multipliers.
Beginner Tips #
- Follow the objective bar. The boss bar at the top of your screen always tells you your next goal, and a floating arrow points you toward it.
- Don't fear resets, and keep your gear. Time Leap, the Intelligence Generator, Strength unlocks, and Era Alignments all reset resources on purpose, each handing back a permanent boost. Your items (pickaxes, swords, armor, relics, artifacts, accessories, charms, runes and potions) are never lost to any reset.
- Open the wiki with
/guide. The/guidecommand opens this very wiki in your browser, the fastest way to look up resets, boosts, gear, and more. - Vote daily. Voting is free and earns Vote Tokens you can spend on Gems, an accessory, and cosmetic auras.
- Customize your HUD. Use
/scoreboardto choose which stats show for each area, and/settingsto tune the experience. - Explore with
/warp. It shows every area and previews what you need to unlock the next one.
