⌛ Progression

Progression

The reset ladder that powers the entire game, from your first Tick, through Time Leaps, up to Eras and the four Alignments that define your late game.

The Progression Ladder #

Timelords is built on layered resets. You generate currencies by clicking, then wipe them to fuel a bigger, more permanent layer, and every reset converts your effort into a lasting multiplier. Nothing you own is ever truly lost.

The steps you'll climb, in order:

  1. Ticks and Moments are the currencies you generate by clicking. They aren't resets.
  2. Seconds is your first reset, then Chrono Dust is a boost resource that sticks through the lower resets.
  3. Temporal Power is a passive gauge that gates your Time Leap (the major prestige reset) but resets nothing itself.
  4. Eras are the highest reset, and from the Stone Age onward you pledge to an Alignment that reshapes your whole playstyle.
🔒
One value never drops: your best-ever Time Leap tier. It only ratchets up, and it's what gates your gear, so armor and weapons stay usable even after an Era reset lowers your current tier. And your items are never lost to any reset.

Eras & Alignments #

The endgame layer. Erasing up the Era ladder is a pure upgrade, and from the Stone Age onward each Era lets you pledge to one of the four Timelords for a set of randomly rolled boosts, a unique mechanic, and a private area. You can hold only one Alignment at a time, and switching triggers a full Era reset so choose the specialist that matches your playstyle.

🌌 Eras

The highest reset: Origin, Stone Age, and Bronze Age.
