🏹 Prism Archer

Prism Archer

A glowing, diamond-trimmed skeleton archer that stalks the Diamond Mine. Its arrows split into a spread mid-flight, and it's your most reliable early source of Pure Diamonds.

Overview #

The Prism Archer is a ranged custom mob found in the Diamond Mine area. It wears leather armor trimmed with diamond and carries a glowing bow, keeping its distance and peppering you from range. Like every foe in Timelords, it is a PvE target only. You never fight other players.

Its 35% 😐 damage reduction makes it noticeably tougher than a Cave Crawler, but it's far squishier than the Gemstone Guardian. It slowly heals back ~17 ❤ (10% of max) every 15 seconds while it isn't taking hits, so commit to the kill rather than trading pokes.

💡
Close the gap. The Prism Archer is dangerous at range and helpless in melee; once you're on top of it, a decent sword ends the fight quickly.

Splitting Arrows #

The archer's signature trick: every arrow it fires travels 10 blocks, then splits into three: the original plus two more that fan out to either side. A single shot can become a wall of arrows if you're standing far enough away, so the danger actually grows with distance.

Split distance
10 blocks from where the arrow was fired.
Per-arrow damage
Each arrow (and each split) hits for the archer's full 60 🗡, reduced by your Defense 😐.
Fire rate
Roughly one volley every 1.8 seconds while it has line of sight.
Don't stand still in the open at long range. That's exactly where the split catches you with all three arrows. Strafe, break line of sight behind terrain, or rush it down. Fighting inside the 10-block split range means the extra arrows never form.

Stack Defense 😐 from armor and armor relics to shrug off the barrage, and keep your Health ❤ topped up between fights.

Drops #

Only players who deal at least 10% of the archer's total damage receive loot, and each qualifying player rolls the table independently. Chances below are the base odds. Your Loot Luck ⭐ improves the luck-sensitive ones (see Loot & Loot Luck).

The standout is Pure Diamonds at a generous 1 in 12, so farming Prism Archers is a solid way to build toward the upgrade tree early. Gemstone and Undead Cores are crafting drill components. The Tectonic Heart is conditional: it only drops for players who currently hold the Tectonic alignment, and it's needed to trade for the Deep Breaker.

Signature Drop: the Prism Accessory #

The archer shares its name with its rarest non-conditional prize, the Prism accessory (Epic, 1 / 450). Worn in your Accessory Bag, it grants bonus Crit Power 💥 and +5–15% Mining Speed ⛏, blending combat and mining boosts in a single slot.

💭
Every Prism rolls its Mining Speed within that range when it drops, so no two are exactly alike, and once it's yours, it's yours for good.

Like all gear in Timelords, the Prism and everything else the archer drops are kept through every reset: Seconds, Chrono Dust, Time Leap, Intelligence, and Era. Items never reset.

Tips & Related #

🏃 Rush it down

Close inside 10 blocks so its arrows never split, then finish it in melee.

💰 Farm the diamonds

At 1 / 12 Pure Diamonds, it's an efficient early diamond source.

Bring Loot Luck

Higher Loot Luck ⭐ means more chances at Cores and the Prism.
