Overview #
The Undead Miner is a common early-game foe that roams the Iron Mine in a small pack. It wears an iron helmet and swings a rusted pickaxe, wandering its patrol zone until a player steps into range, then it closes in and attacks. Like every mob in Timelords it's strictly PvE: it only ever targets players inside its arena, and you never fight other players.
Stats & Behavior #
The Undead Miner has no defense, so every point of your Damage 🗡 lands in full, so it's a great target to test a new sword on. It hits back for a flat 15 🗡, which your Defense 🟢 and Health ❤ soak easily once you have a set of armor.
Drops #
Every player who deals at least 10% of the miner's total health in damage qualifies for loot and rolls the table independently. It always drops Flesh, and has a chance at two crafting components, its signature armor relic, and an artifact.
| Drop | Rarity | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Flesh | Common | Always |
| Rusted Gear component | Uncommon | 1 / 120 |
| Zombie Skin armor relic | Rare | 1 / 150 |
| Undead Core component | Rare | 1 / 150 |
| Iron Weight artifact | Epic | 1 / 225 |
Rusted Gear and Undead Core are trade components used with NPCs, so hold onto them. Zombie Skin is an armor relic you take to the Relic Smith to add +5–10% Defense 🟢 to a piece of armor, and Iron Weight is an artifact that multiplies your Iron gains (×1.1–1.5) once slotted.
Tips & Farming #
- Bring any sword. With 0 defense on the target, even a Bronze sword clears the pack quickly.
- Time your swings for a full attack charge instead of spam-clicking; a charged hit deals far more Damage 🗡.
- Finish each miner in one go. It heals 10% of its health every 15 seconds if you leave it, so partial fights waste time.
- With three miners on a 10-second respawn, this is the steadiest early Flesh farm, and Flesh feeds the Alchemist's potions.
- Everything you loot here is permanent: relics and artifacts are never lost to any reset, so early drops keep paying off through Time Leaps and Era resets.
