Diamonds & the Diamond Mine

A vast geode carved deep beneath the world, home to custom monsters, the diamond economy, and everything you refine into Pure Diamonds. This is where mid-game Timelords come to grow rich.

The Diamond Mine #

The Diamond Mine is a huge geode region you travel down to, not a separate world, just a deeper area of the same continuous world. It unlocks at Time Leap 12 (Diamond Breaker), which itself requires reaching the Stone Age. It's packed with custom monsters, the tools of the diamond economy, and the deep Pure Diamond upgrade tree.

Unlike the earlier mines, the Diamond Mine is dangerous. The ore is guarded by hostile mobs, so mining here doubles as a combat zone. If the monsters are too tough, build up your Strength and armor first; some of them carry valuable loot when slain.

Mine Diamonds

Break diamond ore for Diamonds, the raw material behind everything down here.

🔥 Refine to Pure

Purify diamonds into scarce Pure Diamonds at the Diamond Forge.

👑 Spend & Grow

Buy diamond gear, artifacts, drills, and the permanent upgrade tree.

📜
Everything you unlock and craft down here (pickaxes, armor, artifacts, the whole upgrade tree) is kept forever. No reset ever takes your items, and the upgrade tree survives even an Era reset.

Getting In & Meeting Korrin #

To reach the Diamond Mine you need Time Leap 12 (Diamond Breaker), which is gated behind the Stone Age. Once you're in, the first Timelord you'll meet is Overseer Korrin, who runs the whole operation.

Iron gear can't scratch these gemstones, so Korrin sells you your first Diamond Pickaxe to get you started. From there he points you toward the Diamond Forge to begin purifying diamonds, and warns you about the monsters lurking deeper in the mine.

📜 “We discovered this massive geode and dug in, finding both treasures and deadly creatures. To mine the gemstones down here, you'll need something a lot stronger than iron.” Overseer Korrin

Mining Diamonds #

Mining works the same as it does with the first three ores: hold a Diamond Pickaxe, left-click the ore, and drain its hidden health with your Mining Speed ⛏. When a block breaks it banks Diamonds into your balance and regrows after a short cooldown.

Ore formYield
Diamond Fragment×1
Diamond Block×5
Compressed Diamond Block×25

The Miner's Grace passive can upgrade a block to a richer tier as you mine, turning a Fragment into a Block (×5) or a Compressed Block (×25), and every ore break in the world still has a chance to drop Chronite. On top of that, diamond-tier breaks are the only place you can naturally find the Diamond Chip artifact, which multiplies your Diamond fortune.

💎
Diamonds aren't spent on gear directly. Their real purpose is being refined into Pure Diamonds, and, once you unlock the right nodes, passively boosting your other resources (see below).

What Your Diamonds Boost #

Beyond being refined, your current Diamond balance can passively multiply other resources, but only after you buy the matching nodes in the Pure Diamond upgrade tree. Until then, diamonds just pile up for the Forge.

Because these scale with your live balance, there's real value in letting diamonds accumulate rather than dumping every one into the Forge. The bigger your stockpile, the bigger the boost.

What Else Is Down Here #

The Diamond Mine is the hub for a huge slice of the mid-to-late game. Once you're mining, explore these:

The Diamond Forge
Slowly refines Diamonds (plus Coal) into scarce Pure Diamonds, the true mid/late-game currency.
Pure Diamond Upgrade Tree
A permanent skill tree bought entirely with Pure Diamonds. It survives Era resets and unlocks the diamond boosts above.
The Collector
Trades rare artifacts for Pure Diamonds, with 3 random offers a day once you complete his first quest.
Custom monsters
The Cave Crawler, Prism Archer, Gemstone Guardian, and the Mutant Cave Crawler boss all live here, dropping loot and drill components.
Tectonic Drills
For Tectonic players: automated diggers bought here that mine on their own, even while you're offline.
Aeon Crystals
A sealed cave deep in the mine, home to the next scarce resource still being built out.
