Ranks

Ranks are a single-held ladder you buy with Gems. You hold one at a time, and it grants a chat prefix, some quality-of-life perks, and permanent stat buffs you can toggle on or off.

Overview #

There are two ranks: VIP and VIP+. Because ranks are a ladder, you only ever hold one at a time. Buying VIP+ replaces VIP rather than stacking on top of it. Both are bought with Gems, the premium currency you can grab from the webstore or earn a little at a time by voting.

A rank gives you three things: an Epic chat prefix, a set of quality-of-life perks (VIP Cave access, extra Wardrobe slots, white chat, a shorter chat cooldown), and permanent stat buffs that boost how much you earn.

Ranks and their buffs are pure convenience and a leg-up, since everything a rank speeds up is still reachable for free just by playing. Nothing behind a rank is exclusive power you can't earn.

The Two Ranks #

Here is exactly what each rank costs and grants:

The × all resource gains buff multiplies every resource you generate (Ticks, Moments, Seconds, ores, and the rest), while the XP multiplier speeds up the gauge that feeds your Temporal Power and, in turn, your Time Leaps.

How VIP+ Works #

VIP+ is a time bank, not an auto-renewing subscription. You buy it a month at a time and can stack as many months as you like onto your timer.

Requires VIP first
You must already hold VIP before you can buy VIP+ time.
Each purchase = 30 days
Every month you buy adds 30 days on top of whatever time you have left. Buy three at once and you bank 90 days.
It never auto-charges
Nothing is ever billed automatically. You top up whenever you want to.
You get a heads-up
About 10 minutes before your time runs out, you get a single in-game warning so you can add more if you want.
Lapsing just drops you to VIP
When the timer hits zero you simply fall back to VIP. You keep VIP's prefix and perks, you just lose the VIP+ extras until you buy more time.

Discounts & the Buff Toggle #

  • Upgrade discounts. Because ranks are a ladder, moving up subtracts what you already paid for your current rank, so you never pay twice for the parts you already own.
  • Buff toggle. You can switch a rank's stat buffs off from the Ranks page while keeping the prefix and the quality-of-life perks. Turning the buffs off is handy when you want a "clean" number for comparison, or you just prefer the challenge.

Ranks, their buffs, prefixes, and everything else you own stay with you through every reset: Seconds, Chrono Dust, a Time Leap, or an Era reset. Resets never touch your rank, your Gems, or your items.

The VIP Cave #

Both ranks unlock the VIP Cave, a cozy area in The Origin built for rank holders. Inside you'll find:
